Then we will discuss the structure and content of an MSc dissertation in Philosophy and the grading rubric used for marking dissertations.In Lent term, seminars will cover topics that are chosen by MSc students for their theses.The Research Proposal outlines the questions for investigation, presents a review of the research literature, and presents the methodology for data collection and analysis.

Please join us for the Spring 2019 Dissertation Proposal Workshop!

The Office of Academic Services is pleased to announce Thesis and Dissertation Workshops for students who plan to file for graduation.

In addition to examining the various guidelines for thesis and dissertation preparation, the workshops will give you an opportunity to ask specific questions about the format of your project.

During this workshop, you will focus in on a dissertation topic, write and workshop a draft of your dissertation prospectus, and identify potential funding sources.

These short memos are designed to keep you focused, move you forward and give you something tangible to take into conversations with your advisor as you develop your project.
